Anti-racism: A Theological Grounding: January 21 and 28 at 9:30 am in 203
The recent report from our Anti-racist Congregation Committee (ARCC) set forth an ambitious vision for our community. While the work of becoming an anti-racist congregation is still coming into focus, the starting point for our faith community is clear: we must build a shared Biblical and theo-ethical framework to ground us in the work ahead. Throughout this two-week series, we will explore a wide range of voices, as ancient as the writers of scripture and as contemporary as Christian social ethicists and liberation theologians responding to our current moment of racial reckoning. Together we will build a rich library of resources and a shared vocabulary to sustain us in our striving to become an anti-racist congregation. Led by Rev. Ian McPherson.
