Finlator Lecture Series: Faith, Justice, and Democracy

Saturday, September 28 from 9-11:30 am in Finlator Hall
Sunday, September 29 at 11 am in the Sanctuary
Rev. Dr. Carter Heyward joins us as we renew the W. W. Finlator Lectures with a focus on faith, justice and democracy. The lectures are named after the late William Wallace Finlator, former pastor of Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, remembered for speaking boldly and prophetically on the issues of his day. Into that legacy we welcome Carter Heyward, priest, activist and author, whose most recent book, "The 7 Deadly Sins of White Christian Nationalism", issues a call for Christians and others to build movements of liberation and healing. Join us for any or all of these events.
