How does Pullen work to reduce local food insecurity? One way is our long partnership with Urban Ministries of Wake County (urbanmin.org). In addition to giving through the Mission and Outreach budget, we collect nonperishable food at Pullen’s Finlator entrance for the Food and Nutrition program. Join Pullen Mission Women as we learn about hunger in Wake County, how Urban Ministries addresses the problem, how our contributions are used, and how we can give most effectively.  David Disher, director of the Food and Nutrition program, will join us on Zoom on May 7 at 10 AM for an informative discussion.
