United Against Hate Information Session: November 19 at 9:30 am in Finlator Hall
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina is hosting an interfaith “United Against Hate” community outreach event at Pullen on Sunday, November 19 at 9:30 am as part of the Department of Justice’s efforts to combat hate crimes and discrimination. Through the United Against Hate initiative, U.S. Attorneys are convening local forums to build stronger relationships between community organizations and federal, state, and local law enforcement to educate communities on how to identify and report hate crimes and acts of discrimination. The United Against Hate outreach in the Eastern District of North Carolina is part of the broader Civil Rights Initiative announced last year.
