September 25 -- Fractal Faith: Psychedelics in Christian Life
Today, psychedelics like LSD are being explored as breakthrough treatments for mental illness, and recreational use has tripled. With these substances purportedly inducing mystical visionary experiences, what is the church’s response? Baptist psychedelics educator Kaleb Graves will explain what these substances are, what kind of experiences they cause, and how we can provide educated care for people who use them. In addition to churches, Kaleb has previously written and spoken about psychedelics for The Wild Goose Festival, Duke Divinity School, Baptist News Global, and the Journal of Psychedelic Studies.
