Lauren Nachimson, Social Work Intern

Lauren is Pullen’s Social Work Intern for the 2024/2025 school year! After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Appalachian State University, she decided to switch gears and pursue her master’s degree in social work at North Carolina State University. She engages with community members who are experiencing food and housing insecurity at the Round Table Fellowship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lauren also helps lead the youth group on Wednesday evenings. Away from church, she attends the Unbroken Circle Seminar with other Pullen staff in order to gain insight on the aging process and how to further help our community.
