7/14/13 “Sister Simone Campbell on Neighborliness” by Sister Simone Campbell

Sister Simone Campbell, leader of the national “Nuns on the Bus” movement, was a guest in the Pullen pulpit on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Sr. Simone used Luke 10:25-37, which recounts the parable of the neighborly Samaritan, as her text.

Sr. Campbell has served as Executive Director of NETWORK: A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby since 2004. She is a religious leader, attorney and poet with extensive experience in public policy and advocacy for systemic change. In Washington, she lobbies on issues of peace-building, immigration reform, healthcare and economic justice.
